Can this remove an Instagram or Facebook AI label?
It can remove supported file metadata that may be one signal used around AI labeling. Platforms can use other signals too, so we do not guarantee an AI label will disappear.
What AI label metadata can be removed?
On supported files, the cleaner can remove supported C2PA / Content Credentials, XMP, IPTC, generator, prompt, workflow, software and private EXIF / GPS metadata.
Does it remove C2PA or Content Credentials?
It removes supported removable C2PA / Content Credentials data from supported files and then scans the cleaned output again.
Does it remove AI prompts or generator information?
When supported prompt, workflow or generator fields are stored as removable metadata, the cleaner removes them along with the other supported metadata.
Does cleaning change image quality?
On supported image formats, the cleaner removes metadata without redrawing the image and verifies that the encoded image payload is preserved.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The current core cleaner processes supported images and videos locally in your browser; the media file itself is not uploaded.
